lynell sutterLynell Sutter           Ecologist/Botanist/GIS Analyst

Ms. Sutter founded GeoCosmos in 2007 with the intention of providing innovative solutions to the multifaceted challenges present in our world today, relying on geospatial analytical methods, tools, and techniques. Lynell has over 10 years of professional experience as a Botanist and Ecologist. She specializes in field botany, special status species, biological soil crusts, and GIS. Ms. Sutter received her M.S. in Biology studying the effects of biological soil crusts on seed germination for invasive and non-invasive grass species. She held the Ecologist position for the Idaho Bureau of Land Management where she provided expert analysis of ecological health in upland, riparian, and wetland communities. Her specialized training in soils and plants has provided her with a clear understanding of soil site stability, hydrologic functioning, and biotic integrity of arid and semi-arid ecosystems.
