GeoCosmos chosen by Bayfield Regional Conservancy to prepare
Douglas County Strategic Conservation Plan
GeoCosmos was contracted by the Bayfield Regional Conservancy as the project consultant for preparation of the Strategic Conservation Plan for Douglas County, Wisconsin. In 2008, the Bayfield Regional Conservancy initiated a multi-year effort to identify and prioritize lands with high resource values within their service area. This process will provide a formalized structure and add focus to the organization’s conservation activities through the preparation of a series of strategic conservation planning documents. Bayfield County was the first geographic area analyzed and A Strategic Conservation Plan for Lake Superior’s Bayfield Peninsula was released in June 2009.
